Holiday Magic /
Somewhat disheartened by pie, I decided to surprise the gathered masses with a new dessert on this festive occasion. I settled on a "Magic Chocolate Flan Cake," because I once saw one made on TV and HECK. YEAH.
Flan plan.
Turns out, flan is not my strong suit.
Flan flop.
So that was my day.
Merry Christmas, Folks.

In the scheme of things, historically, this year's pie ultimately stacked up pretty well.
Though "heaped up" may be more accurate.

There is a slight chance that I misjudged the appropriate volume of apples this year.
